Puerto Williams – as we were well on schedule to return to Ushuaia on time, we were able to spend the day in Puerto Williams. After checking in with Chilean immigration, six expeditioners went on a hike to a nearby mountain while the “weakest link” (AKA the writer of this post) decided to investigate the tourist spots in the town. An awesome day was had by all, and we met up at the Micalvi in the afternoon after Adrien and Calypso had checked us out at the immigration office. Julin made a fantastic Singaporean curry, and we were joined at dinner by the kind gentleman who had ferried us ashore in his dinghy.

Ushuaia – we set out from Puerto Williams early to travel the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia. I think everyone was looking forward to our arrival, with the morning spent packing our gear. We arrived around 11:30 and proceeded to Argentinian immigration to check back in, followed by a lunch gathering at Ramos Generales – a nice meal with good company to finish to our trip.
Many thanks to Calypso and Adrien for such an awesome experience, one that none of these expeditioners will ever forget!!
